Home Think Tank is a collaboration of Cincinnati area partners, established in 2007 and dedicated to creating accessible and affordable options for community living for people with disabilities. During 2012, Home Think Tank held a series of four community workshops for people with disabilities, family members, and advocates to explore options for living in the community:
- The Basics with Keynote Speaker John Maltby MSW from the Westchester Medical Center UCEDD
- Creative Housing Options with Keynoters Derrick Dufresne MBPA of Community Resource Alliance and the Institute on Public Policy for People with Disabilities and Kathy Foley of LEAPâ€™s Aging and Disability Resources Center
- Families Taking the Lead Â with keynoter Marcie Brost, a consultant with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services
- Families Taking the Lead: More Stories of Integrated, Affordable and Accessible Homes with keynoters Marcie BrostÂ and David Porterfield of Movinâ€™Out,Â Madison Wisconsin
