Who We Are
The Center for Dignity in Healthcare for People with Disabilities (CDHPD) is a virtual center with the goal of identifying and reducing life-limiting healthcare inequities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by improving access to anti-discrimination medical protocols.
Core TeamWhat We Do
Develop resources for healthcare professionals to understand the civil rights and support the needs of Americans with disabilities as they access routine and lifesaving care; and engage people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to learn more about advocacy related to healthcare discrimination.
MoreOur Partners
The Center consists of eight national partners with expertise in IDD, medicine, law, self-determination and family support; and an Advisory Board and Subcommittees that address various medical discrimination issues that individuals with IDD experience.
